About Leah

Lifelong Kansan. Conservative leader. Servant to District 82.

Leah Howell, State Representative, District 82

STATE REPRESENTATIVE, DISTRICT 82

Leah Howell

I’m a lifelong Kansan, 28-year Derby resident, wife of 36 years to Jim, mother of five, and proud grandmother of eight. I have served as your State Representative since 2023 and previously in 2022, and I’m running for reelection because the work we’ve started together is not finished.

With 15 years as an Early Childhood Director, deep roots in our community, and a strong conservative record in Topeka, I bring real-world experience to every vote I cast. I believe Kansas is strongest when citizens stay informed and involved — and I remain committed to transparency, accountability, and the values of our district.

“It’s an honor to represent our community in Topeka!”
